We are situated on the main A82, 32 miles from Fort William and
34 miles from Inverness.
Our house lies 2 miles south of Fort Augustus, Loch Ness - a busy
tourist village with the caladonian canal at the heart of the
village leading out onto Loch Ness itself.
Fishing can be arranged if required, small or large parties.
A courtesy car would be made available to ferry guests to and
from the village if required.
There are restaurants and pubs in their plentiful in Fort Augustus,
also convenience stores, craft shops and cruises can be booked
for Loch Ness and the Caledonian canal, also bike hire and there
is a rare breeds farm also situated in the village.
It goes without saying the area is famed for its beautiful scenery,
walks and cycle routes everywhere.
There are lots of walks around the village and the neighbouring
village of Invergarry which is 5 miles away.
We feel we are in an ideal position, easily accessible from the
A82 with easy access to Skye and the islands beyond, very convenient
for Inverness, & Aviemore being only one and a half hours
drive away.
